This noble mossy doorstep
No footprints have adorned

The beauty of decay

Inside these walls of misery
Sheltered by the spirits around
My mind will be set free

Abode of my soul
Neglected, past remedy
Surrounded by this tangled mess
Of yellowed worn memories

I have been here before
Abandoned this place in haste
Never trusted that luring door
Revealing the upper floor

Climbing up the stairs to the unknown
Confrontating memories will be found
Left by this world
